Helping you understand and change the patterns behind anxiety, overthinking and feeling stuck — using EMDR and integrative therapy.
If your mind won’t switch off…
If you find yourself going over the same thoughts again and again…
If anxiety is affecting how you feel, behave or make decisions…
You’re not alone — and it doesn’t have to stay this way.
Many of the people I work with are used to coping and “getting on with things,” but internally feel overwhelmed, stuck in their thoughts, or constantly on edge.
What anxiety and overthinking can feel like
Anxiety and overthinking can show up in different ways, including:
- Constant worry or “what if” thinking
- Overanalysing conversations or decisions
- Difficulty switching off or relaxing
- Feeling on edge or emotionally reactive
- Struggling with sleep due to a busy mind
- Second-guessing yourself or lacking confidence
Even when you understand what’s happening logically, it can still feel difficult to change.
Why it can feel so hard to shift
Often, anxiety and overthinking aren’t just habits — they are part of deeper patterns in how your mind and body respond.
You may:
- Know why you feel this way
- Have tried to think differently
- Have even had previous therapy
…but still find yourself going round in the same loops.
That’s because lasting change often happens beyond logic alone.
How I can help
I offer a calm, supportive space where we gently explore and change the patterns behind how you think, feel and respond.
I work in an integrative way, using approaches including EMDR therapy, mindfulness and other techniques, tailored to you.
Rather than only talking about the problem, we work at a deeper level to help your mind and body respond differently — so change feels more natural and lasting.
What you can expect
- A warm, non-judgemental and supportive space
- A pace that feels right for you
- Greater understanding of your thoughts and responses
- A reduction in anxiety and mental overwhelm
- A growing sense of calm, clarity and control
Over time, many people notice they:
- Think less, or think more clearly
- Feel less reactive
- Make decisions more easily
- Feel more like themselves again
Who this is particularly helpful for
This approach may be especially helpful if you:
- Feel stuck despite understanding your thoughts
- Have tried counselling or talking therapy but still feel anxious
- Experience ongoing overthinking or mental loops
- Feel overwhelmed by everyday life
- Want something that helps you shift, not just understand
